Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the northeast corner of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, south of China’s largest saltwater lake — Qinghai Lake. Covering a total area of 44,500 square kilometers, it is home to a population of 450,000 from 28 ethnic groups, including Tibetan, Han, Hui, and Mongolian, and is known as the gateway to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Hainan carries the beautiful legend of Princess Wencheng’s journey to Tibet and boasts the reputation of the "City of Pear Blossoms" and “the Yellow River is clearest at Guide.” The prefecture offers rich tourism resources such as Qinghai Lake, the Yellow River, Longyangxia, the Kunlun Mountains, Danxia landforms, and diverse ethnic and religious cultures. Together, these form a unique and vibrant eco-tourism culture with distinct regional characteristics and folk styles. Its spectacular natural and cultural landscapes are awe-inspiring.
According to Cheng Guocai from Qinghai-Tibet Nomadic Specialty Products Development Co., Ltd., the company owns nearly 40,000 acres of pasture on the highland meadows of Guide County, Qinghai Province, with an annual slaughter of nearly 10,000 yaks and over 20,000 Tibetan sheep. The company has also invested heavily in building a sterile slaughtering factory and large cold storage facilities, forming an integrated food production and processing enterprise that covers grazing, processing, and sales. Through natural grazing, sterile processing, vacuum packaging, and quick-freezing preservation, the products are finally air-freighted to Guangzhou for sale. This ensures a process from pasture to processing to sales that is purely natural, zero-additive, and pollution-free.
Currently, the chilled yak beef and Tibetan lamb produced by Qinghai-Tibet Nomadic Specialty Products Development Co., Ltd. have gone on sale in Guangzhou, allowing local consumers to enjoy pure, natural green food from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
