Moganshan Lake

Moganshan Lake is a large artificial lake formed after the construction of the Duhekou Reservoir dam on the southern foothills of Mount Moganshan in 1960. Covering an area of 3.7 square kilometers, the lake is surrounded by rolling mountains and lush forests, with a winding and picturesque shoreline. From the small island in the center of the lake, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the water and surrounding hills. To the north, a small hill extends into the lake, known as Beauty Peak. To the south of the lake, the shoreline is lined with flowering trees and fruit orchards, planted with various fruit trees such as bayberries, peaches, and chestnuts, creating a scene reminiscent of a paradise on earth.
