Yunmeng Fairyland Natural Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yunmeng Fairyland Natural Scenic Area, located in Liuli Temple Town, Huairou District, Beijing, is over 80 kilometers from downtown Beijing. Known as the Zhangjiajie of the north and the most beautiful scenic area in northern Beijing, it has been rated by Beijing Municipality as one of the “Top Ten Best Outings in the Suburbs.”

The scenic area is characterized by its wonder, danger, beauty, wilderness, and a string of clear pools. Covering an area of 16 square kilometers, the area features towering peaks, bizarre rocks, hundred-foot waterfalls, and deep, clear pools. The scenery changes at every step, with each view captivating. In spring, there are wildflowers; in summer, lush valleys; in autumn, red leaves—making it an ideal destination for mountain and wilderness tourism. The scenic area boasts three most famous major attractions.

Transportation

1. By Car

Take National Highway 111 (Beijing-Canada Road), drive 25 kilometers north via Yanqi Lake (at the 84 km milestone on Beijing-Canada Road), then turn right and drive 6 kilometers to reach the destination. Please watch for directional signs.

2. By Bus

Take bus 916 to Nanhuan Gas Station, cross the street and transfer to bus 862 (outer loop) to Yujia Yuan Station. Then transfer to the bus marked (Huairou–Tanghekou). Get off at Baichazi halfway, which is still 6 kilometers from the scenic area—you can take a taxi or walk the rest of the way.

Ticket Discounts

1. Half price for students, children, and seniors with valid ID;
