Meilin Site

The Meilin Site is a cultural relics protection unit of Deqing County.

The Meilin Site is located at Baiyangwei in Meilin Village, Xinxing Town, dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and is classified as an ancient site.

In June 1982, the Meilin Site was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Meilin Village: Located in the western suburbs of Xinxing Town, Meilin Village borders Xinxing Town to the east, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to the south, Jiayuan Village to the west, and Qianjin to the north.

The village committee is 1.5 kilometers away from the town government. The village covers an area of 4.3 square kilometers, with 3,774 mu of paddy fields and 615 mu of mulberry fields.

It has 24 villager groups, with a total population of 2,797, including over 1,973 laborers. The village Party branch has three Party branches.
