Shenting Site

The Shenting Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Deqing County.

The Shenting Site is located in Dongshenting Natural Village, Shenting Village, Zhongguan Town, dating back to the Neolithic Age. It is classified as an ancient ruin.

In September 2006, the Shenting Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Shenting Village: Situated in the northeasternmost part of Zhongguan Town, Shenting Village borders Qianjin Town in Nanxun District. The village covers an area of 1.96 square kilometers, comprising 10 villager groups, with 296 households and a permanent population of 887. The village includes 1,205 mu of paddy fields, 457.6 mu of mulberry fields, and 290 mu of fish ponds.

Under the leadership of the village Party branch, the village committee has demonstrated unity, pragmatism, innovation, and integrity.
