Xiagaoqiao Site

The Xiagaoqiao Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Deqing County.

The Xiagaoqiao Site is located to the west of the village committee of Xiagaoqiao Village, Leidian Town. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and is classified as an ancient site.

In September 2006, the Xiagaoqiao Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Xiagaoqiao Village: Located in the western part of Leidian Town, Xiagaoqiao Village borders the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to the east, Yuhan District to the south, Sanhe Township to the west, and Qianyuan Town to the north. The village committee is 4 kilometers away from the town government. The village covers an area of 6.45 square kilometers, with 3,131.6 mu of paddy fields, 1,272 mu of mulberry fields, 328 mu of fish ponds, and 26 villager groups. It has a total population of 3,126, including over 1,768 laborers. The village Party branch consists of two Party branches.
