Hongqiao

Hongqiao is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Deqing County.

Hongqiao is located at the northern end of Shih River on the eastern side of Beiping Street in Xinshi Town. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient structure.

In September 2006, Hongqiao was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Xinshi Town: A central town in Zhejiang Province — Xinshi Town in Deqing County is situated in the eastern part of Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. It borders Tongxiang City to the east, is adjacent to Yuhang District of Hangzhou to the south, and connects with Nanxun District of Huzhou to the north. The town is approximately 50 kilometers from Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Huzhou, 220 kilometers from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, 80 kilometers from Xiaoshan International Airport, and 30 kilometers from the Hang-Xuan Railway, Hang-Ning Expressway, and Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway. The highway from Shanghai to Mount Mogan runs through the town, and the golden waterway of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal wraps around the town for over 10 kilometers. With convenient land and water transportation and a superior geographical location, it serves as a key hub.
