Xin'an Gaoqiao Site

The Xin'an Gaoqiao Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Deqing County.

The Xin'an Gaoqiao Site is located at Xin'an Gaoqiao in Shedong Village, Xin'an Town. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and is classified as an ancient site.

In April 2010, the Xin'an Gaoqiao Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Shedong Village: Shedong Village is situated in the center of Xin'an Town (formed in 2001 through the merger of the former Nanyangwan Village and Huanqiao Village during a village-level administrative division adjustment). It borders the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to the east, Shedong Village to the south, Anquan Village and Shedongxi Village to the west, and Xiasha Village and Shedongbei Village to the north. The village committee is located 5 kilometers from the town government. The village covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers; it has 3,049 mu of paddy fields, 1,320 mu of mulberry fields, and 54 mu of fish ponds.
