Taiping Bridge

Taiping Bridge is a cultural heritage protection unit of Deqing County.

Taiping Bridge is located in Silang Natural Village, Sunjiaqiao Village, Xin’an Town. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In April 2010, Taiping Bridge was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Sunjiaqiao Village: Situated in the northeastern part of Xin’an Town (formed in 2001 through the merger of the former Sunjiaqiao Village and Chenjiawei Village during a village-level administrative adjustment), it borders Ximiaoqiao Village to the east, Gouli Village to the south, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to the west, and Shaocun Village of Xinshi Town to the north. The village committee is 3 kilometers away from the town government. The village covers an area of 5.85 square kilometers; it has 2,376.4 mu of paddy fields, 1,235 mu of mulberry fields, and 67 mu of fish ponds.
