Zhanrui Hall

Zhanrui Hall is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Suzhou City.

Zhanrui Hall is located at No. 27 East, Damingwan, Jinting Town, Wuzhong District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Zhanrui Hall was originally the ancestral home of the Wu family in Mingyue Bay Village, built in the 58th year of the Qianlong reign (1793). The residence faces south and occupies an area of 1,083 square meters. It is divided into three sections: the central section has two-story buildings in both the front and rear courtyards, which are the main hall and the rear building respectively. The first section of the east wing is the entrance hall, and the second section is a small two-bay building. The west wing functions as a study.

In 2009, Zhanrui Hall was upgraded from a Suzhou municipal-controlled preservation building to a municipal-level cultural heritage conservation unit.
