The Jiading New Town Urban Planning Exhibition Hall serves as a patriotic education base.

The renovation and expansion project of the exhibition hall repurposes an old factory building. With a total construction area of 10,750 square meters, it includes 6,283 square meters of renovated space and 4,467 square meters of newly built space. The renovation and expansion project combines advanced domestic energy-saving technologies with the spatial structure inherent in the architectural design. The project won several prestigious awards, including the 2009 Shanghai Municipal Engineering “Magnolia” Award (for outstanding municipal projects), the First Prize for Excellent QC Achievements in Shanghai Construction Projects, and the CIOB Outstanding Construction Project Management Award. The exhibition hall plays a significant role in showcasing the development of the new town and promoting patriotic education.
