In the blossoming spring of April,
friends will gather once again at the Shanghai International Circuit.
2017 FORMULA 1 Chinese Grand Prix
will be held from April 7–9 in Shanghai.
This year, the F1 rules have once again been innovated and changed.
From car design and tires to the driver lineup,
Chinese fans will witness this sport
unfolding a whole new level of excitement live at the circuit.
Meanwhile, four F1 world champions will also return here
to compete for the championship trophy of the 2017 F1 Chinese Grand Prix.

As the roar of engines echoes through the stadium,
the area outside the track is also a world of fun.
This year, the activities at the Water Square are as always
spectacular and exciting.
The CAS Tuning Car Show, "Seasons of Shanghai · Jiading" themed park, and more
will make your trip to Shanghai truly worthwhile.

HIGHLIGHTS
The competition is full of uncertainty.
The 2017 F1 Chinese Grand Prix will welcome
10 teams and 20 drivers.
Although Mercedes’ car design and pre-season test performance
have been outstanding, they are facing
the retirement of defending champion Rosberg and the arrival of Bottas.
It remains to be seen whether the Finn can quickly deliver
strong performances that can rival his teammate Hamilton.
Of course, Ferrari, with two world champions in Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel,
and Red Bull, with strong drivers like Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo,
will also be fierce contenders in the battle for the world championship.
The racing cars have undergone a complete visual transformation.
This year’s cars will deliver a refreshing new look.
Based on the new technical regulations,
the triangular wide front wings, widened and lowered rear wings,
broad floor pans, and larger tires
have become the "standard" look for all teams' cars this season.
And they’re not only more "aggressive" in appearance,
but will also be faster than previous years.
They’ll race at lightning speed, full of energy.
The post-90s drivers’ group is growing stronger.
This year, three rookie drivers will make their debut at the Shanghai circuit.
They are McLaren’s Stoffel Vandoorne, Force India’s Esteban Ocon,
and Williams’ Lance Stroll—three post-90s drivers.
Ocon is the 2015 GP3 champion.
Vandoorne is not only the 2015 GP2 champion,
but also substituted for Alonso at last season’s Bahrain Grand Prix,
finishing an impressive 10th place—a future star with unlimited potential.
Among the trio, the youngest, Lance Stroll, is just 19 years old.
But with the experienced teammate Felipe Massa by his side,
the 2016 European F3 champion
is also expected to be this season’s biggest dark horse.
