Hanghua Park

Hanghua Park is located at No. 1 Hangxin Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, covering a total area of over 44,622 square meters. Construction began in April 2000, and the park was completed on December 27, 2000. It was designed by the Shanghai Landscape Architecture Design Institute and built and maintained by Shanghai Shenzhou Greening Company.

Longbai Subdistrict has consistently treated environmental greening as an important component of social development, adhering to the people-oriented principle and the goal of benefiting the public. Through self-raised funds and careful planning, it has created a comprehensive park integrating leisure, fitness, and entertainment, which is open to all visitors free of charge.

The park features over 120 plant species, with main highlights including cedar, camphor, osmanthus, moso bamboo, and red maple. The plant layout is organized by representative flora of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, blending seamlessly to showcase the unique characteristics of each type of greenery and create a pleasant, spring-like scenery all year round. The terrain within the park is varied, with features such as rockeries, pavilions, waterside gazebos, simulated rock beaches, stepping stones, pergolas, water bodies, and plazas. A range of fitness equipment is also available for visitors to use.
