2016 Documentary of China’s Snowboard National Team

China’s Snowboard Team season film On Board will be launched online and offline simultaneously on December 4. This season film is the team’s second after Heading to Sochi from the 2013/2014 season. It documents the national team’s new journey after the Olympics, flying toward new adventures with their love for snowboarding. The film not only captures highlights of the team’s training and competitions throughout the season, but also showcases moments from their personal lives, including the tough rehabilitation process after injuries that the public rarely sees.

Masters like JT Holmes, Seth Wescott, Caroline Gleich, and Steven Nyman will pursue the ultimate in snow sports on the mountains we dream of conquering. We’ll witness the graceful moves of these alpine freestyle masters — every cliff drop, every turn (big or small) will deeply move us. We’ll chase the wind, snow, mountaintops, and the freedom they promise. Let’s take a look at the bold spirit of the U.S. Freeskiing Team and the endless dynamic appeal of snow sports. Break free from the ordinary — find new thrills in wakeboarding, surfing, and paragliding.

This film aims to showcase the most primal joy of skiing — the very essence of the sport. It’s not about fame or fortune, but about pure enjoyment and happiness. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you share the same mindset and joy. Whether carving down Japan’s deep powder, trying local extreme skiing in England, seeking new runs in Alaska, or exploring new jumps in Iceland’s wilderness, the film reveals every angle of skiing. No blizzard can dampen a skier’s passion — and that passion will be delivered to the audience through this film.
