Just entering November, Beijing’s first snow has fallen. Some people have already dug out their thermal leggings, while others have flown straight to tropical islands to relive summer dreams. But forskiingenthusiasts, the long and unbearable spring, summer, and autumn have finally passed, ushering in their own special season.

Compared to those winter hibernators who shy away from the cold, these deep addicts of the white stuff are all about gathering in groups during the harsh winter—when the weather gets colder, they get more hyped; when the snowfall gets heavier, they party harder.

So, in this extremely cold but passionate season, we’re bringing you a high-energy “Ice & Snow Film” extravaganza. From December 4 to 27,before 2015 ends, the ‘Hot Snow Image Festival’ is waiting for you and your fellow skiing enthusiasts to ring in the winter together.

Beijing Stop  The venue is the National Stadium "Bird’s Nest," where the world’s top snowboarding event, “AIR+STYLE Beijing,” is held.

Shanghai Stop A must-visit spot for PRO growth—the Jump360 Extreme Trampoline Park.

Chongli Stop    The 2022 Winter Olympics venue—Miyuan·Genting Ski Resort.

From North Snow to Fragrant South, three cities come together. Whether you’re a skiing fanatic or just starting out, come join us—it’ll be the most fun-filled winter bash you can’t miss.
After three years of operation, Banff China’s ‘Hot Snow Image Festival’ has become the country’s most renowned skiing film brand. Each year, it brings China’s audiences some of the world’s most exciting skiing films. With strong influence in major cities and within the industry, it’s an unmissableeventfor skiing enthusiasts every season and a visual feast for the general public in winter.

In 2015, the Hot Snow Image Festival stepped out of cinemas to get closer to skiers, combining with FIS Freeski Slopestyle (Feixue) and the Winter Olympics. \It presents the most spectacular winter sports celebration at three locations—Beijing’s Bird’s Nest, Shanghai’s 360JUMP, and Chongli’s Genting Miyuan Ski Resort—for skiing fans nationwide.
China’s national snowboarding team’s seasonal film, On Board, will be launched online and offline simultaneously on December 4. This seasonal film is the second produced by the national team following Sliding Towards Sochi from the 2013/2014 season. It documents the team’s new journey after the Olympics, flying toward fresh adventures powered by their passion for snowboarding. The film not only captures the highlights of the team’s training and competitions throughout the season but also showcases moments from their off-snow life and the tough rehabilitation process rarely seen by the public after injuries.
Legends like JT Holmes, Seth Wescott, Caroline Gleich, and Steven Nyman will chase the ultimate in snow sports on the peaks we dream of conquering. We’ll witness the graceful moves of these mountain masters—every cliff drop, every turn (big or small)—will deeply move us. We’ll follow the wind, the snow, the mountaintops, and the freedom they promise. Let’s take in the bold spirit and endless dynamic appeal of the U.S. Freeskiing Team, break free from the routine, and find new thrills in wakeboarding, surfing, and paragliding.
This film aims to show the public the most primal joy of skiing, which is also the sport’s fundamental spirit—not chasing fame or profit but simply enjoying the utmost thrill and happiness. Whether beginners or pros, everyone shares the same mindset and joy. Whether carving down Japan’s thick powder, trying local extreme skiing in England, seeking new runs in Alaska, or exploring new jumps in Iceland’s wilderness, the film reveals every angle of skiing. No blizzard is too fierce to dampen a skier’s enthusiasm, and that enthusiasm will be delivered to the audience through this film.
