Shanghai's "Kids' Town on Sunday" is the first domestic children's edutainment venue—a role-play theme park created specifically for children aged 3 to 13. Spanning nearly 7,000 square meters, the venue replicates real-life scenes at a 2/3 scale, featuring bustling streets filled with facilities, buildings of various architectural styles, as well as shops and factories of different brands. It’s a mini world where kids can explore, play, create, and learn. Here, you’ll find a 4-year-old dentist; a 5-year-old news anchor; a 6-year-old firefighter, 7-year-old bus driver, 9-year-old pilot, 10-year-old police officer...

"Kids' Town on Sunday" is an educational and entertaining scenario experience space, consisting of about 45 themed venues of various sizes. Each venue is designed with strong realism, allowing children to immerse themselves in lifelike environments. Through hands-on participation and joyful role experiences, it helps children unlock their potential and interests while comprehensively enhancing four key abilities: hands-on skills, coordination and planning ability, teamwork and interpersonal skills, and resilience to setbacks.

Like real society, "Kids' Town on Sunday" offers a wide range of professions across eight major fields and fifty industry categories, providing more than 70 types of social role-playing experiences. Children can freely choose their favorite roles to try out. Just like in the real world, most experience venues come with dedicated role costumes, allowing children to fully engage in the relevant work processes. Some uniforms are even direct replicas of those worn by professionals sponsored by the venues—such as airplane pilot uniforms, firefighter suits, and clinic attire—helping kids quickly step into their roles. To foster independence and ensure uninterrupted experiences, most venues do not allow adults to enter. Parents can observe their children’s activities through glass walls or relax in the public areas outside the venues.

"Kids' Town on Sunday" encourages children to experience life as adults, while parents often take on the role of spectators, quietly watching their children "grow up." A few select programs, such as those at the TV station or airline, offer parent-child interaction segments where parents or teachers act as audience members or passengers, and children take on the roles of hosts or flight attendants—fully stimulating their performance enthusiasm through scenario-based interaction. To give parents peace of mind, the latest safety technology has been introduced, along with a thoughtful group pairing mechanism that allows families or classes within the same group to be matched together. This ensures synchronized entry and exit for effective safety management.
