The Hu'an Company Military Industry Tourist Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Heilongjiang Hu'an Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., affiliated with China North Industries Group Corporation, is located in Nianzishan District, Qiqihar. Nestled on the eastern foothills of the Greater Khingan Mountains and surrounded by rolling hills, the area spans 69 square kilometers and lies 110 kilometers from downtown Qiqihar. Hu'an Company is a veteran defense enterprise personally chosen by Chairman Mao. Established in 1951 and put into operation that same year, its products have won multiple National Invention Awards, National Silver Awards, and Flying Dragon Awards. The company’s independently developed military equipment made outstanding contributions to the Korean War, the Sino-Indian War, the Sino-Vietnamese War, the Zhenbao Island counterattack, the launch of “Two Bombs, One Satellite,” and the downing of the first American U-2 high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. It has been commended multiple times by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the - . To meet the long-standing public curiosity about the secretive processes of military production, the shaping of military products, and live-fire exercises at the firing range, a military industry tourism route has been opened. A variety of weapons and live ammunition have been prepared to allow visitors an up-close look at military manufacturing. The site also offers recreational facilities such as leisure activities, amusement venues, fishing spots, swimming areas, rafting, shooting ranges, ball games, and board games. The mountains of Hu'an are rugged and layered with unique rock formations; its waters are clear and serene, with rippling waves; orchards and flower shrubs dot the hillsides.
