Heilongjiang Nianzishan Yalu River National Wetland Park is situated on the floodplain of the main course of the Yalu River in the northwest of Nianzishan District, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. Its northern boundary is formed by the planned Ya-Si Highway, the southern end reaches the border between Nianzishan District and Longjiang County, and the eastern and western sides are bordered by the main stream and tributaries of the Yalu River, respectively, encompassing a vast area of river floodplains. The wetland park stretches 11.22 kilometers from north to south and 3.09 kilometers from east to west, covering a total area of 1,771 hectares.
