It is located on Guanghuan Street, Dashiren Town, Jiangyuan County. The period is 1945. On November 24, 1983, it was designated as a cultural relics protection unit by the People’s Government of Jilin Province. Originally named “Yulin Tower Mountain,” Shiren Blood and Tears Mountain covers an area of about 500,000 square meters. It earned the name “Blood and Tears Mountain” because more than 10,000 deceased miners from the Shiren Mine during the Japanese puppet regime were buried here. In 1963, a class education exhibition hall was built here, along with eight memorial sites for visitors, with a total construction area of about 1,300 square meters. At the mountaintop stands a 15-meter-high monument inscribed with “Monument for Deceased Miners During the Japanese Puppet Rule.” Below, there are one hundred steps, and at the entrance are three kneeling iron statues of the chief culprits. Some of the structures have now been damaged.

On October 7, 2019, the Shiren Blood and Tears Mountain Memorial for Deceased Miners was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
