As a new highlight of winter tourism in Yanbian, ski tourism is increasingly favored by local skiing enthusiasts and domestic tourists. On the 19th, one of the larger ski resorts in our prefecture — the Wangqing Full Sky Star National Forest Park Ski Resort — officially opened to the public.

The Wangqing Full Sky Star National Forest Park Ski Resort covers a total area of 15 hectares. The first phase of the project has completed an investment of 13 million yuan, including five ski runs divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, as well as snow tubing and snowmobile trails. The ski resort’s runs span a total length of 3,800 meters, with a vertical drop

of over 100 meters. It is equipped with a sightseeing cable car and one tow rope lift. The ski shop offers more than 1,500 sets of skis and boots in various sizes, and there are also over 30 professional ski instructors available to serve visitors. It is one of the five largest ski resorts in the province. Since its trial operation on January 10 of this year, it has been running smoothly, with holiday visitor numbers exceeding 1,000 at times, greatly meeting the skiing needs of enthusiasts; it has also enlivened the winter tourism market in our prefecture, enriched residents' outdoor winter activities, and alleviated the issue of "off-season" tourism in the region to some extent.
