【Editorial】Fuzhou City Direct Tourist Painted Bus to Huangqi Port Officially Launched

To offer tourists convenient round-trip travel between Huangqi Port and downtown Fuzhou, a daily tourist painted bus service between the two locations has been officially launched starting January 26. The bus will align with the ferry schedule from Huangqi to Matsu for tourist transfers, traveling daily between Fuzhou and Huangqi, with a one-way trip of about 1.5 hours. Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, is widely known for its abundant and high-quality hot springs, which gained national fame as early as the Jin Dynasty and remain a renowned hot spring destination to this day.

A Historical Snapshot of Shipbuilding – Mawei Shipbuilding Museum
Mawei is the cradle of mainland China’s shipbuilding, ship manufacturing, and naval training. The “Mawei Shipbuilding Museum” is the first museum on the mainland dedicated to shipbuilding culture, housing a vast collection of precious artifacts, photographs, models, and various simulated scenes.

Precious Historical Heritage – Three Lanes and Seven Alleys
Originating in the Western Jin Dynasty, refined during the late Tang and Five Dynasties periods, and flourishing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is Fuzhou’s most representative historical and cultural district. It retains an intact ancient lane layout and is hailed as a “living fossil of the li-fang system” and a “museum of Ming and Qing architecture.”

Premium Hot Spring Resort – Guian Hot Springs
Fuzhou’s hot springs are among China’s three major hot spring regions, earning the reputation of “Bathing in Fuzhou.” Within the city, Guian Hot Springs features natural hot spring sources, abundant supply, and even hot spring belts in the urban center, making it unique among provincial capitals in China, hence its title as the “Hot Spring Capital of China.” In Minqing County, under Fuzhou’s jurisdiction, the Qidie Hot Springs have their water outlets at an altitude of over 400 meters, making them the highest-altitude hot springs in Fujian, and their stunning scenery is a marvel of alpine hot springs.
