Taiwan’s Largest Sunflower Maze Opens in Siaolin District, Kaohsiung Starting Feb. 5

From February 5 to 14 this year (2016), Siaolin District in Kaohsiung City will once again host Taiwan’s largest sunflower maze, spanning a 3-hectare maze and 25 hectares of flower fields. During the 10-day exhibition period, besides the Siaolin Sunflower Maze City, Meiyue Flower Field, and Siaolin Bridge Flower Field, there will also be activities including flower picking, prayer zones, local produce sales, and romantic flower viewing for couples.

Taiwan’s largest “sunflower maze,” which has been under land preparation since November last year, can be clearly seen from an aerial view forming the pattern “5230 (I Love Siaolin).” The arrangement resembles a maze, allowing visitors to not only stroll through a natural labyrinth but also enjoy the floral scenery and the joy of being immersed in nature.
