Lianshanhe Park

Originating from Dahongluo Mountain and flowing eastward into the Bohai Bay, the Lianshan River is the mother river of the people of Lianshan. The park covers a total area of 132,000 square meters, with a water storage capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, and features over 6,000 various trees and shrubs. The 6,400-meter-long dam is lined on both sides with granite railing posts, inlaid with colorful lights that create a dazzling effect at night— the lights shining because of the posts, and the posts glowing because of the lights. A thematic sculpture symbolizing harmony stands at the park entrance, while more than 10 sculptures representing Lianshan’s history and culture, such as Lianshan Post, Hongluo Maiden, Taiping Drum, and New Melody of Zheng Island, are scattered across the 38,000-square-meter lawn. Lianshanhe Park is a comprehensive urban leisure park integrating flood control, ecological environment, cultural entertainment, recreation, fitness, and tourism.
