Suziwan Environmental Education Base
[Introduction]
The Suziwan Environmental Education Base is situated in the core area of the central urban agglomeration of Liaoning Province, in Tangtu Manchu Township, Fushun County. To the south lies the majestic Sanjiaoshi National Forest Park, and to the west stretches the vast Dahuofang Reservoir. It is 52 kilometers from downtown Fushun, 90 kilometers from Shenyang, and 44 kilometers from Benxi. Provincial Highway Shentong Line, as well as county-level highways Xiali Line and Zhengshi Line, all pass through the scenic area, offering convenient transportation and a prime location.
The Suziwan Environmental Education Base is located in the lower reaches of the Suzi River, which has a drainage area of 2,147 square kilometers and a river length of 128 kilometers. The rafting starting point is at Qiansandaohe, and the endpoint is at Housandaohe, covering a rafting distance of 8.5 kilometers. This section of the river features winding bends and dramatic shifts, where at times the waves challenge the raft with thrilling intensity, and at other times the calm waters bring serene delight. Towering cliffs, moss-covered rocks, and lush forests line both sides of the river, creating a harmonious landscape painting — an ideal destination for leisure and vacation.
