Yingkou Lakeside Park

Lakeside Park was built in 1985, covering an area of 9.6 hectares. The park currently consists of four functional zones: the amusement area, the senior citizens' activity area, the animal zone, and the management area. The development of Lakeside Park has been continuously improved over the years — in 1998, the "Log Flume" ride was added; in 2002, construction began on a 4-million-yuan investment project to build one of the largest lion and tiger mountains in Northeast China, covering an area of 5,000 square meters, which opened to the public on May 1, 2003; in 2003, a new rest garden was built, covering 1,120 square meters with an investment of 1.5 million yuan. Today, Lakeside Park features lush trees, a network of pathways, weeping willows by the ponds, lotus flowers on the lake, hedges along the roadsides, flowers blooming in three seasons, and evergreen foliage all year round, providing visitors with a comprehensive recreational park that integrates entertainment, leisure, and sightseeing.
