Tim Ho Wan to open new branch in mid-September; fourth outlet to land in Taipei Hankyu Food Street

Tim Ho Wan’s third outlet in Taichung, the Dayeh Takashimaya branch, has only recently opened (in June), and its fourth branch is set to open in the underground food court of Hankyu Department Store in Xinyi District. A sign at the renovation site indicates an opening in mid-September. Currently, apart from the Zhànqián (Station Front) branch, Tim Ho Wan’s Xinyi, Taichung, and the upcoming Hankyu branch (tentative name) are all located inside department stores, likely targeting their large foot traffic.

Tim Ho Wan currently has three outlets in Taiwan: the Zhànqián (Station Front) and Xinyi branches in Taipei, as well as the Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya branch, in addition to a takeaway outlet at Zhànqián. Regarding the menu, besides the standard offerings, the Xinyi and Zhànqián branches feature signature dishes recommended by their head chefs. At the Xinyi branch, these are Soy Sauce King Stir-Fried Noodles, Radish and Stewed Beef Tripe, and Salt-and-Pepper Squid Balls, while the Zhànqián branch offers Glutinous Rice with Chinese New Year Meats, Curry Beef Brisket Ramen, and Crispy Fried Tofu with Sesame.
