RaoYang Bay Scenic Area

The RaoYang Bay Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

The Panjin RaoYang Bay Scenic Area is located in Panshan County, Liaoning Province, along the banks of the RaoYang River, where the sounds of fishing boats echo. Established in September 2011, it covers an area of over 30,000 acres. Here you can find a century-old fishing and hunting culture; vast misty waters where cranes dance and seagulls call; it is a water-themed scenic area centered around “water culture,” as well as a place to free your soul and soothe your life. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, take a wooden raft to get up close to the reed marshes, and enjoy the tranquility and peace of nature. Since its opening, the scenic area has launched a variety of activities including: wooden raft sightseeing, wooden raft dining, a fishing and hunting culture theme park, a well salt bath area, barbecue, riverside seafood restaurants (land-based), bonfire parties, water drifting, fishing bases, water weddings, fish viewing, and winter fishing. The well salt beach bath area and its children’s play zone are also great destinations for kids.
