On September 25, the naming ceremony of the "Panshan" train on the Beijing-Tianjin-Panshan Railway was grandly held at Tianjin North Station, a historic railway station with a century-long history. The naming of the "Panshan" train not only further showcases the unique tourism resources of Panshan Mountain and the tourism brand of Jizhou District, but also establishes a new platform and window for promoting Jizhou. It was learned from the ceremony that visitors traveling to Panshan Mountain by taking the "Panshan" train can enjoy a preferential policy of ¥20 per person upon presenting their ID card and the same-day train ticket.
It is understood that Panshan Mountain, a national 5A-level scenic spot, is a famous historical and cultural mountain. Its recorded history dates back to the Han Dynasty and flourished in the Qing Dynasty. It is a tourist destination that boasts both natural landscapes and historic sites, as well as a blend of Buddhist culture and imperial heritage. In recent years, leveraging its resource and location advantages, the scenic area has fully implemented a strategy to upgrade its facilities and services, actively striving to build a first-class national scenic spot and a premium national 5A-level attraction. To further promote Panshan’s historical and cultural resources, the scenic area has actively collaborated with China Railway Travel Service to name the Beijing-Tianjin-Panshan Railway trains as the "Panshan" train. By making full use of various promotional tools such as train naming decals, seat headrest covers, in-carriage posters and display boards, and onboard announcements, the area comprehensively showcases the historical culture, natural scenery, and humanistic charm of Panshan and its surrounding tourist attractions.
