First Chinese ascent, first unclimbed peak... At 16:00 on January 11, BIGPACK athlete Yann Delevaux (aka "Yan Deli Huosi") from France and Chinese climber Liu Zhixiong successfully reached the summit of the unclimbed Hunter Peak in Shuangqiaogou, Sichuan, China, with a measured elevation of 5,384m. Hunter Peak neighbors Jianzi Mountain. The two peaks stand shoulder to shoulder, with a massive stone pillar in between, reaching dozens of meters in height, resembling a hunter standing with a gun, hence the name Hunter Peak.
