55 packages overwhelm Japanese hotel? Lion Travel clarifies: Hotel has no objections
Recently, Taiwanese tourists in Japan asked the hotel to receive 55 packages on their behalf, sparking heated discussion. Members of the tour group expressed dissatisfaction over being publicly judged while traveling abroad. Lion Travel met with a representative of the group this (3rd) afternoon, and both sides communicated to clarify the situation. Lion Travel issued a statement saying that many of the rumors and information were not factual and had caused distress to both the travelers and the company, so they released six statements to explain what actually happened.

Peach Aviation is set to officially launch its Taipei (Taoyuan)–Tokyo (Haneda) route on August 8, becoming the first low-cost carrier from Taiwan to fly to Haneda Airport. The airline also revealed that starting spring 2016, it will recruit flight attendants in Taiwan for the first time, further strengthening ties between the two regions.
