The national airline today opened recruitment for flight attendants, starting at a monthly salary of NT$40,000, with only 25 positions available but attracting nearly a thousand applicants for interviews. The intervals between Taroko Express services between Taipei and Hualien have also been shortened by 8 to 9 minutes, with trains running every half hour on holidays.
