Official Yellow Duck merchandise unveiled: Limited edition limited to just 18,000 pieces

Officially licensed Yellow Duck merchandise has been officially revealed and will go on sale at Kaohsiung’s Glory Pier on September 19th. The organizer, Left Brain Creative Marketing, announced the official merchandise lineup on the 14th, including a limited edition Yellow Duck Kaohsiung commemorative model, three types of Yellow Duck T-shirts, a Yellow Duck towel, a Yellow Duck set badge, Yellow Duck washi tape, a Yellow Duck cool fan, and Yellow Duck Kaohsiung commemorative postcards—seven memorial items in total.

The Yellow Duck merchandise available exclusively at Glory Pier will be sold on-site only. The limited edition Yellow Duck is limited to just 18,000 pieces and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with a purchase limit of four per person. All merchandise is scheduled to officially go on sale after the opening ceremony on September 19th. The organizer, Left Brain Creative Marketing, stated: “The Yellow Duck itself is imported from abroad, and apart from having a Kaohsiung commemorative stamp printed on its rear, we’ve also specially designed a unique packaging for the duck that represents Kaohsiung.” By combining the image of the city of Kaohsiung with the adorable little duck, this Yellow Duck from the Netherlands takes on even more of the character of Kaohsiung’s harbor. Meanwhile, the other souvenir items have all been designed and developed by a Taiwanese design team, manufactured by Taiwanese companies, and approved by artist Florentijn Hofman.

The Yellow Duck towel is also expected to be one of the best-selling items, according to organizer Left Brain Creative Marketing. Made from 100% pure cotton by a top-quality Taiwanese towel manufacturer, the towel has excellent texture and is covered in cute little ducks. Left Brain Creative Marketing says this towel is also expected to create a buying craze. Aside from the 18,000 limited edition Yellow Ducks, there are only 5,000 sets of the Yellow Duck set badges available. All other merchandise is currently being produced and will be ready for the public to bring home the joyful, happy spirit of the little duck on the day the Yellow Duck exhibition opens.

In addition to the seven official Yellow Duck souvenirs, the organizer Left Brain Creative Marketing has also designed an extra-cute Yellow Duck sticker as a free gift. Anyone who purchases souvenir items on-site will receive a Yellow Duck commemorative sticker, while supplies last. The souvenir tote bag is also adorned with a cute duck design, making it highly collectible and memorable.
