The yellow rubber duck set to appear in Kaohsiung Harbor for the Mid-Autumn Festival has been unveiled. Following the water towing test of the duck’s floating platform, on the 13th, the yellow duck and its platform were assembled, undergoing inflation, trial sailing, and securing tests. The duck, which takes just seven minutes to inflate, stood up in the sunlight for the first time, prompting onlookers to exclaim, "The duck is so adorable!"

The world-traveling yellow duck has finally "grown up" in Taiwan too. The Kaohsiung City-provided floating platform for the yellow duck underwent assembly, water launch testing, and trial sailing. In the afternoon, the duck was inflated on the water, conducted a trial sail from Pier 2 to Glory Pier, underwent securing tests, and another trial sail from Glory Pier back to Pier 2. Although the official exhibition hasn’t begun yet, the testing process has already attracted many duck-loving tourists eager to take photos, witnessing firsthand the duck “growing up” in just seven minutes. After today’s tests, the yellow duck will not appear again until the dress rehearsal on the 18th.
