Mount Jingang in Liaoyang boasts 23 natural landscapes and 5 cultural sites, among which the more renowned include Dragon Head Peak, Big Jingang Peak, Second Jingang Peak, Golden Toad Welcoming the Dawn, Rhino Turtle Gazing at the Moon, Recumbent Lion Peak, Human Head Peak, White Cloud Cave, One-Line Sky, Guest-Greeting Pine, Nine-Dragon River, Willow Trees by the Dragon Pool, Laojun Pond, and Laojun Cabinet Rock, collectively referred to as the 28 Scenic Spots of Mount Jingang. The mountain features undulating and rugged peaks, striking and precipitous in form, while the Nine-Dragon River meanders along the mountainside, embraced by crystal-clear waters. By day, the sun gilds the summit of Dragon Head Peak; by night, moonlight reflects off its rocky scales. As you ascend the steps, to the south you can see layers of peaks resembling a peacock spreading its tail, and looking northward, you’ll take in natural wonders such as the Jingang Guardian, Golden Toad Welcoming the Dawn, and Rhino Turtle Gazing at the Moon. Recently, Mount Jingang has developed new water recreation activities downstream, along with newly built roads and parking lots.
