Liaoyang Agricultural Carnival Town

The Agricultural Carnival Town is the core area of the Shoushan Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park in Liaoyang County. It consists of three major sections: the Agricultural Technology Experience Zone, the Agricultural Creativity Experience Zone, and the Central Landscape Belt. Currently, the town has built a visitor area covering 120 mu, with a total facility area of 41,317.3 square meters, making it the largest agricultural carnival unit in Northeast China.

The Agricultural Carnival in Liaoyang County integrates resources such as commercial flow, logistics, information flow, capital flow, and talent flow, establishing six functional zones: the Technology Management Area, the Premium Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Area, the Happy Agricultural Experience Area, the New and Exotic Fruit and Vegetable Display Area, the Ecological Aquaculture Area, and the Reserved Development Area. Among these, ten key projects are prioritized for development, including the Agricultural Carnival, the Technology Base Camp, the Agricultural Outlet, the Colorful Flower Field, the Agricultural Disneyland, the Fresh Fruit Paradise, the Agricultural Facilities Theme Park, the Colorful Fish Fun Park, and the Vibrant Fruits and Herbs Garden.

The completed Agricultural Technology Experience Zone is divided into seven major sections: Vegetable Art Encyclopedia, Seaweed Grand View, Manchu-Han Imperial Feast, Factory Seedling Cultivation, Clear Water Countryside, Southern Fruits Charm, and Floral Color World. It showcases 64 of the latest cutting-edge modern agricultural technologies from China and abroad, 11 patents, 15 new high-tech crop varieties, and 245 new, superior, and special fruit and vegetable varieties. In addition, it features 256 varieties of ornamental flowers and plants integrated into the landscape design. With a focus on high-tech demonstrations, unique agricultural varieties, and Manchu-Han farming culture, the zone offers a creative agricultural experience that combines technology, landscape, leisure, and hands-on activities.

Within the Agricultural Carnival’s over 40,000 square meters of exhibition space, visitors can fully explore the local agricultural features and cultural heritage of Liaoyang. They can admire rare vegetables and fruits, experience Manchu culture, enjoy the charm of southern fruits, and stroll through seas of blooming flowers. Not only does it feast the eyes, but also allows visitors to “get hands-on” by joining various fun farming activities, tasting regional specialties, and immersing themselves in the joy and charm of agriculture. In addition, the park features a uniquely themed Happy Ranch covering an area of 6,892 square meters, where visitors can experience rural life and enjoy the pleasures of farm living. In the outdoor adventure zone, guests can challenge themselves, get some exercise, and enjoy a different kind of sporting fun while having a great time.
