Chifeng Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Chifeng City Museum is located on the north side of the Cultural Square in downtown Chifeng. It was established as the Zhaowuda League Museum Preparatory Office in 1959, became the Zhaowuda League Cultural Relics Work Station in 1963, and was renamed Chifeng City Museum in 1987. Situated at the northern end of the Cultural Square in downtown Chifeng, the museum’s architectural style embodies a perfect blend of the solemn elegance of traditional Eastern classical architecture and the smooth simplicity of modern design. The building covers a floor area of 6,800 square meters and houses a collection of over 10,000 cultural relics, along with several thousand volumes of books and reference materials. The museum features three main exhibition areas: Light of Civilization, Bronze Age, and Grassland Empire. The Light of Civilization exhibition showcases exquisite cultural relics from the Neolithic periods in the Chifeng region, including the Xinglongwa, Zhaobaogou, Hongshan, Fuhe, and Xiaohexiayan cultures. The Bronze Age exhibition highlights the Xiajiadian Lower and Upper Cultures, which gave rise to the grassland bronze civilization. The Grassland Empire exhibition presents thematic displays on Liao Dynasty culture and Mongol-Yuan Dynasty culture.
