Daan Viljoen Game Park is located to the west of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, about 18 kilometers from Windhoek. It is a game breeding reserve and also the smallest park in Namibia. The park opened to the public in 1962 and is home to a wide variety of animals. The lakes in the park attract over 200 different bird species to inhabit and breed, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching.

There are several winding trails in Daan Viljoen Game Park for visitors to explore and observe different animals. Baboons are the most commonly seen animals in the park, and there are also many horses that roam and play freely. The park is an ideal choice for campers and picnickers.
