The world is full of mysterious wonders, and even on Earth, you can witness otherworldly, space-like landscapes. Located in the southwestern part of Africa, the Republic of Namibia is arguably the region closest to the desolate scenery of Mars. Especially famous is the Skeleton Coast, known as the land created by God in anger. It is one of the driest deserts in the world, and this coastline stretches 500 kilometers between the ancient Namib Desert and the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Portuguese sailors called it the "Coast of Hell," yet it is ranked among the world’s top ten most breathtaking sights.

The Skeleton Coast is full of inexplicable perils. In addition to the fierce desert winds and the white bones scattered everywhere, the coastal fog and hidden reefs are notorious sites for shipwrecks and plane crashes. Even if survivors manage to make it to shore, they step into one of the most desolate deserts. Coupled with the haunting nightmares of the night, this is undoubtedly one of the most treacherous places on Earth.
