Recently we introduced photographers Cartell Dirnberger and Stevo Dirnbergerwho captured images of tulips in full bloom in the Netherlands, looking like a fairyland, but such breathtaking views are not the first they’ve seen. Three years ago, they began traveling around the world and have since visited over 40 countries. The total distance of their journey has reached the equivalent of the distance from the Earth to the Moon, during which they have admired and photographed various 'hidden' landscapes.

Cartell Dirnberger and Stevo Dirnberger quit their jobs in 2015, sold their car, home, and other belongings, and set off on a journey around the world. They use Google Maps to navigate and travel only by bus, tuk-tuk, rubber stamp (likely a mistranslation – should be something like “boat” or corrected contextually), or even on foot, documenting everything they see on Instagram.

Recently, the distance they’ve traveled has reached 384,400 kilometers, equal to the distance from the Earth to the Moon, yet they don’t seem ready to stop. They continue their journey and share their experiences on their own website, “How Far From Home.”
