Moorish Park
Introduction: Moorish Park is located between the Manzanares River and the Royal Palace. It got its name because it was once the encampment of Muslim troops during their siege of Madrid in the 12th century. It wasn’t until the reign of King Philip II that it began to be used as a garden. Transportation: Metro: Lines 5 and 2 at Ópera Station. Admission / Opening Hours: Opening Hours: Winter – Monday to Saturday 10:00–18:00, Sunday and holidays 09:00–18:00; Summer – Monday to Saturday 10:00–20:00, Sunday and holidays 09:00–20:00
