Breaking news: Cathay Pacific will launch a new direct route from Hong Kong to Madrid, Spain in June next year. Travelers will now have a more convenient option to fly directly to the Spanish capital.
Currently, there are no direct flights from Hong Kong to Spain — travelers must transit elsewhere, with flight durations ranging from 16 to over 20 hours. With the new direct service, the outbound journey takes 14 hours (not a huge difference), but the return trip is just 12 hours, saving at least 4 hours. Plus, the schedule features a late-night departure and an early morning return — a solid time arrangement overall.
