San Isidro Church

Introduction San Isidro is the patron saint of Madrid, and the San Isidro Festival held from May 15 to June 15 each year is the city’s most important local celebration. Therefore, this church holds special significance in Madrid. The church was designed by Pedro Sánchez, and its foundation stone was laid by King Philip IV himself.
