The Madrid Zoo Aquarium is located in "Casa de Campo", the largest urban park in Madrid. Opened in 1770, it is one of the largest zoos in Spain and one of the few in the world that houses giant pandas, making it highly praised by visitors.

The Madrid Zoo Aquarium is composed of a zoo, an aquarium, and a children's petting zoo. It is home to over 500 species and around 6,000 animals, birds, and marine creatures, more than 200 of which are marine species housed in the aquarium. They live happily together under the same sky. Most of the animals you wish to see can be found here, with the most eye-catching being the giant pandas from Chengdu, Sichuan, China. They arrived at the zoo in 2007 and successfully gave birth to a pair of panda cubs in 2010. Their adorable appearance has deeply captivated visitors from all over the world.

The biggest highlights of the aquarium are the dolphin shows and the coral displays. The colorful corals are said to be among the most beautiful and impressive in Europe. Children visiting the site particularly love entering the dolphin pavilion to watch the dolphin performances, which leave them excited and thrilled.
