The Madrid Wax Museum is located on Paseo de la Esperanza in Madrid and opened to visitors in 1972, at the dawn of the "Golden Age" of museums in the city. The wax figures on display cover a wide range of fields in Spain, vividly presenting numerous well-known personalities to visitors.

With an exhibition area of 2,000 square meters spread across two floors, the Madrid Wax Museum features over 40 exhibition rooms that visitors can explore by era. The spatial design, ambiance, lighting, and sound effects in each room transport each wax figure back to the period in which they lived, creating impressively lifelike images. From Spanish monarchs throughout history to heroic figures of the Age of Exploration, from Cervantes to Goya, the wax figures of historical celebrities and contemporary famous personalities are all brought vividly to life here against carefully designed backdrops and lighting. Visitors can see wax figures of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, U.S. President Barack Obama, Rafael Nadal, Mario Vargas Llosa, and more.
