The Space Tower was built in 1960 to welcome the flower exhibition held in Rotterdam that year, attracting over 300,000 visitors every year. Ascending the 185-meter-high tower, known as the “Euromast,” offers a panoramic view of the entire city, and on clear days, you can see up to 50 kilometers away, with the full harbor vista spread out before you. The structure is also a symbol of Rotterdam and a famous attraction in the Netherlands.

Rotterdam’s Space Tower is the tallest observation tower in the Netherlands, although it has gradually been overshadowed by skyscrapers. When it was first built in 1960, the Space Tower stood 350 feet above the city and port. In 1970, the tower was extended, and now it reaches a height of 185 meters.
