Grocery shopping can be stylish too！The Netherlands' first indoor market has opened

After months of preparation, the Markthal market in Rotterdam, the Netherlands' second-largest city, finally opened last month！Walking through a building adorned with sci-fi-style fruit and vegetable patterns, "grocery shopping" becomes super stylish！

According tothe Daily Mail(Daily Mail Online), the Markthal was designed by the Dutch firm MVRDV, and because of its appearance, it's also nicknamed the"horseshoe."Designers used glass to create a dazzling effect. In reality, it's a mixed-use building that combines a marketplace with apartments, offering space for 100 stalls.

"Shopping here is an experience—you can casually have a drink or find something to eat. The 100 stalls offering fresh produce will make the Markthal the heart of Rotterdam," says the Markthal website.

The market also includes a co-working space available for businesses to rent, currently housing around 60 food-related enterprises. "Entrepreneurs believe they can build their brands using fresh produce."

In addition to fresh fish, poultry, shoppers can also buy cheese, coffee, vegetables, and fruits. There are also pottery shops, wine stores, an underground parking lot, restaurants, and a cooking school.
