Introduction The BMW Headquarters, located next to the Olympic Tower, is the home of Germany’s proud car manufacturer, BMW. The building’s exterior resembles an engine. The lower three floors are exhibition halls that introduce the development of BMW, founded in 1916, allowing you to fully understand the history of BMW. The museum's viewing path winds spirally through the exhibits, displaying various models of BMW cars from past to present arranged by production era. Upon entering the building, rent a headset at the entrance to enjoy audio guides alongside video displays set up throughout the venue. Exhibits are rotated every five years, and there is also a museum souvenir shop.

Next to the building is the BMW Museum, which houses all the cars that BMW has put on the market, from the pre-war Dixi and Isetta series to racing cars. There are also all kinds of engines, turbines, airplanes, motorcycles, and vehicles you can imagine. Next to the Paris-Dakar Rally race cars are vintage motorcycles from the pre-war era; next to Formula One cars are touring vehicles.

Special models such as the BMW Art Cars series—designed by famous concept artists over the past 40 years—are parked alongside cars featured in Hollywood movies. In addition, there are more than 400 other models and engines, all presented in an engaging way that vividly illustrates BMW’s heritage and production history up to today. Transportation Transportation: Take bus 36 and get off at Petuelring. Or take the subway to Petuelring Station (U2 or U3 directly to the Olympic Center).
