Address: No. 48 Jiefang Road, Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City

According to an inscription inside the mosque from the second year of the Guangxu reign in the Qing Dynasty (1876), it was established during the Zhenyuan era of the Tang Dynasty (785) and has been renovated multiple times throughout the dynasties. The ancient mosque faces east and is arranged in a two-courtyard layout, covering an area of 2,300 square meters. It houses structures such as the main prayer hall, scripture lecture room, Xingshen Tower, stele pavilion, ablution room, meeting hall, and imam’s quarters. It is one of the well-preserved ancient mosques in North China.
