The row of Queen Anne-style houses on Steiner Street to the east, known as the “Postcard Row,” features some of San Francisco’s most iconic buildings and is a hallmark of the city’s architecture. In stark contrast, behind this picturesque row rises the financial district with its skyscrapers. Alamo Square was established as a park in 1856.
