International Spy Museum

Introduction

The International Spy Museum opened on July 19, 2002, in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, located near the FBI. The museum is divided into several exhibition themes, including "School for Spies," "The Secret History of History," "Spies Among Us," "The Secret War of Spies," and "After the Mission," as well as a cinema, interactive displays, a restaurant, and an exhibit area for spy gadgets. Inside the museum, you can see a spike-heeled shoe transmitter used by Soviet agents in the 1960s, a lipstick pistol used by KGB agents, aerial photographs taken by pigeons equipped with cameras, Germany's Enigma code machine from World War II, as well as an invisible ink letter written by U.S. President George Washington to his spies during the American Revolutionary War, an umbrella tip capable of injecting poison, and the Aston Martin car used by James Bond in the movies.
